Playing full U12 rugby rules, the squad finished top of their qualifying pool and progressed to the knockout stages of the cup.

After winning their semi-final, the squad was pitted against a strong Saint Oscar Romero team in the final. The final itself was fiercely contested with Weald eventually prevailing 15-10 to be crowned Sussex Schools U12 Sevens champions!
